, Farrar left and formed Son Volt. Uncle, while Jeff Tweedy and
the remaining members continued as Wilco
    .
Uncle Tupelo is renowned for its impact on the alternative country music scene.
    The group's first album,
    No Depression
, became a byword for the genre and was widely influential. Uncle Tupelo's sound was unlike popular country music of the time, drawing inspiration from styles as diverse as the hardcore punk of The Minutemen
and the country instrumentation and harmony of the Hank Williams
. Farrar and Tweedy's lyrics frequently referred to Middle America and the working class
    .
Wilco garnered media attention for their fourth album,
    Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
    (2001).
    Wilco won two Grammy Awards
for their fifth studio album, 2004's
    A Ghost Is Born
    .
Wilco released their twelfth studio album,
    Cruel Country
, in May 2022. Son Volt
is considered a staple of the alternative country
rock movement of the 1990s, and is also rooted in folk rock
    and Americana.
    "Windfall" from the celebrated album
    Trace
became very popular in the alt-country scene, while the band released "Drown" as a single which charted #10 on the mainstream rock charts.
    Excellent condition
