Antique Chinese silver filigree natural Jade adjustable photo locket ring

Here is this amazing early to mid 20th century Chinese silver filigree adjustable ring with a hidden photo locket compartment and a carved natural jadeite lotus flower on the front , the ring weighs 8.2 grams and it currently sits at size 7.75 but it is a adjustable ring with lots of room to adjust either direction from their . The top of the ring measures 23.5 mm north to south or right about 1 inch and the carved jade lotus flower measures 19 mm x 11.5 mm , please note that there are some hairline fissures in the jadeite so if you shine a light through it you will see the tiny cracks but that's perfectly normal for this piece because it's almost 100 years old and it is a ring so it has obviously been bumped a couple times and for what it's worth another centerpiece could be added to this setting very easily but not that it needs it this ring is gorgeous . Now please study the photos the craftsmanship is amazing and the entire top is on a hinge that's a little loose but it opens and closes so very securely and when opened the gold vermeil has never worn off the inside of the photo locket or hidden compartment whatever one would choose to hide inside this ring it closes very securely and there is some fine craftsmanship even on the inside. On the outside the gold vermeil has mostly worn and the ring has a beautiful patina, it is marked on the inside of the band made in China silver . This is a early 20th century master piece of craftsmanship with gentle signs of wear it is so very rare and beautiful in need of a home .   ...
