RARE piece of fabulous vintage jewelry. it is a spectacular Victorian Bracelet
Bracelet has beautiful rhinestone Deco Design
all rhinestones intact.
Bracelet has no markings.
bracelets with clip pins are exceedingly rare. it is almost impossible to find anywhere, on ebay, online jewelry sellers, anywhere. this is an extremely rare bracelet
CONDITION. rhinestones intact. overall nice colors a few are a little dark not much. one of the hinges on the underside of the prong clip has a tad of sauter so possibly was repaired at one time as I am certain this was a loved piece as it is extremely lovely on.the gold is toned & there are very light scratches from use &tad discoloration/ spotting on gold thruout noted thru a mag glass. it is a very old piece so probably along the way. you can see the imperfection of the gold in the pictures-- not really noted with the naked eye but more seen under the camera flash & thru a mag glass
the clasp snaps open/closed w a heavy click & the bracelet is protected with a safety catch.
when wearing this looks like a very rich & expensive piece & looks authentic actually.
there are 2 pictures of this type of bracelet at illusion jewels under "frame clips" - I was unable to find any other pictures or any other similar to this -- I was unable to find anyone selling anything like it anywhere.
any information from anyone with any other information about this type of bracelet would be much appreciated & helpful.
info found online about dress clips, clip pins & duettes etc:
"Dress clips were popular 1920's thru 1950's, dress clips and fur clips were mounted in removable pinback frames to be worn together as a single brooch and were called "clip-pins". Many companies and designers made their own versions, with some being patented and others not. A few were: Coro, Trifari, Eisenberg, Haskell, Boucher, Nettie Rosenstein, Hattie Carnegie, etc. Coro Duette was introduced in 1935. Trifari 1937 -- not all pairs of dress clips and double prong clips once had removeable pinback frames. many pieces were unsigned & it is almost impossible to discover the manufacturer. fur clips were originally called double pronged clips or pin clips."
the bracelet measures 2.5" diameter & the interior measures approx 8" around & fits an average sized wrist. the width is 5/8"
