ART DECO Sterling Sapphire and Diamond Crystal Channel Set Bracelet~Vintage 1920s-30s Tennis Line - so collectible!
With sparkling square Blue Sapphire and White Diamond crystals, channel-set in sterling silver with beautiful details, this elegant and sophisticated Art Deco bracelet was made in the 1920s - 1930s.
This type of bracelet is a forerunner of today's "tennis" bracelet and was called a "line" bracelet in its day.  Important looking enough to stand alone, it also looks great worn in multiples.
So well-made, the bracelet is fully articulated and flexible and lays beautifully on the arm.  It measures about 5mm wide by about 6 1/2" (17 cm) long by about 3mm deep.  The closure is a well-working tongue in groove clasp that is "hidden" for an unbroken design.  It also has a safety clasp for added security.
The bracelet is signed "Sterling" on the back.
The bracelet is in Excellent vintage condition.  It has a lovely vintage patina; cleaning and polishing are left to the buyer's discretion.
Though made of sterling and crystal, it looks like its fine jewelry counterparts and comes from a time when great skill and care went into fashioning imitations of fine jewelry.  This stunning and versatile bracelet looks sensational on and will go with everything.  Not too flashy to wear in the day time, it takes on a glamorous look at night.  A lovely Art Deco period sterling and blue and white crystal bracelet to add to your collection!
