) gundog figurine - handmade and handpainted fired  porcelain in excellent condition. Produced from the highly regarded       german manufactury Rosenthal, Selb, Bavaria Germany. First formed in the Victorian / Art Nouveau or Art Deco Period from the  famous sculptor Edmund Otto-Eichwald in the year 1926. This  figurine impresses through the stunning details and powerful colors.       Tremendous Figurine, outstanding details, very lifelike situation. The  figurine was produced

Edmund Otto-Eichwald (* 1888     † 1959) was a sculptor of animals. Amongst his clients were the porcelain manufactures Nymphenburg, KPM. Otto worked for Rosenthal from 1912 to 1929. He created several figurines, the motifs mostly taken from fauna.
