    CIRCA 1920-30 ~ SCARAB & PHARAOH  BRACELET  ~ SILVER
    The well matched, pretty aqua scarabs are cast, probably in glass or clay.  The nicely detailed Pharaoh images still  have most of their gold wash, though there is some minor loss.    The mountings  appear to be silver, though there is no mark. The spring ring is gold filled and undoubtedly a later addition.  Sparkles finds this a splendid piece of the era given the combination of figurals & scarabs.  She believes in the day, it was probably 'tourist jewelry' for those not affording ancient, authentic (always questionable. right?) scarabs nicely mounted in karat gold.   Vintage to antique jewelry, excellent condition, 7 1/2 inches x 1/2 inch wide.
