    Description

    You are bidding on copyist's score of 87 pages, 5" x 7" of Maurice Ravel's Concerto pour le main gauche.
    The score was purchased during the auction at farmhouse in Pennsylvania after Paul Wittgenstein's ((1887-1961) widow, Hilde (1915-2001) died.
    Light wear to paper spine and partial crease of top right corner of front cover.
    RARE COPY-one in Morgan Library & Museum in New York City.
    The firm Waldeheim-Eberle, sometimes with a copyright note indicates Wittgenstein's agent, Georg Kugel, printed these scribal copies after Paul received the autograph score.
    These were privately printings which Paul would occasionally present as gifts to friends.
    At bottom of title page is printed:
