Egyptian Novelty Silver Filigree Mini Saber Attached w/ Safety Chain in Brooch

I am pleased to offer an Egyptian revival  or ? era filigree novelty brooch It measures 2 5/8  inches long . It is unusual since the saber is removed from the sheath and hangs from the safety chain. It has the old incomplete safety clasp.It has nice filigree work.It is unmarked but appears to be silver or silverplate. It is an estate piece.
