Kull the Conqueror (1997) Concept Art by Syd Dutton

Description

This concept art by renowned Hollywood matte artist Syd Dutton established an alternative view of Valusia.  It was created with oil paints on brown paper and is framed by a 34" x 25" black paperboard matte.  Signed by the artist.
It is accompanied by three production photographs.  One 3.5 x 5 inch color photo illustrates the concept art nearly finished.  The other two are 12 x 9 inch glossy photos.  One is the approved composition and on the backside is written with red ink “Rob approved” [likely artist Rob Stromberg].  The other is slightly different in composition, notably the sky.
