    Description

    Offered here is a very rare, vintage coffee grog mug/cup made for Trader Vic. There is an undercoat of grey paint, but I'm not sure if the high-gloss red paint was applied by/for Vic's or by a subsequent collector or owner. The red paint is evenly applied, however, and looks professionally done. I'm also not sure what is being represented here. African tribal? Polynesian tribal? I have seen others call this "headhunter" and "african goddess". I'll leave all that up to you.
    The bottom of the base also indicates that this particular mug was Made in Japan exclusively for Trader Vic.
