Anyone who has visited the Tonga Room & Hurricane Bar in San Francisco, California will immediately recognize the infamous boat depicted by this tiki mug… it’s the same barge The Island Groove Band performs on several nights a week. The Tonga Room opened in 1945 and has been entertaining guests with it’s indoor lagoon and musical performances ever since. In addition to being shaped like a boat, this tiki mug depicts dancers, entertainers and musicians on it’s four sides.
