VERY RARE MID CENTURY VERY ARTSY ROADRUNNER WALL HANGER SEDONA SCOTTSDALE AZ

Thinning out Dads eclectic collection of the unusual.  His collecting years dated from the early 1950s right through the 1980s.  This wall hanging roadrunner stoneware oblong plaque is a real artsy eye popper.   The photos truly do not give the plate justice as everything from its off centered shape to its eye popping colors transform this 10 3/4in by 10 1/2in handcrafted piece into a statement category. The piece is vintage and dates circa 1950s.Pink was a very trendy color during the 1950s.  The piece still retains two separate original markings. The partial remaining decal in the center reads Oak Creek  Sedona. The other mark reads I Came From Yvonne's. I actually called Scottsdale AZ chamber of commerce and asked if there was any records of Yvonne's gift shop . They were very patient and even asked some older folks but there was no records found and no knowledge of the business.  I thought this information was interesting.
