Presented is a beautiful, 14 karat yellow gold, coral and diamond gemstone jewelry set. This is an American made suite and the pieces were made around the mid to late 1900s. This set includes a pair of clip on earrings a matching choker style necklace. The earrings are comprised of beautifully carved coral in the form of roses and set with 2 sparkling diamonds. The choker necklace is comprised of individually knotted coral beads that are around 8.3 millimeters in diameter. The large, decorative clasp is set with carved coral roses, gold leaves and diamonds. The clasp has a safety latch for added security.
The largest diamond on the clasp is 3.9 millimeters in diameter and the others are about 3 millimeters in diameter. There is approximately 40 to 50 points or around 1/2 carat in total diamond weight in just the clasp. There is approximately 9 points in total diamond weight in each earring. The stones on the clasp are VS-1 or better clarity and G color.
All of the pieces are marked 14K. Gold portions tested and guaranteed to be 14 karat purity.
This set is in excellent overall condition. There are some lines in 2 of the coral beads, but this is only noticeable upon very close inspection of the necklace.
Each earring measures 1 1/2 inches long and the necklace measures 16 inches long.
Total Weight: 109 grams.
The earrings alone weigh 14.4 grams and the clasp of the necklace weighs approximately 21 grams.
