There's an illustration of a Pure service station, with the company's traditional blue and white logo, on the front cover.
When this map was printed, Pure Oil was a thriving company, with 5,000 producing wells, seven modern refineries, and more than 16,000 service stations and garages. But today, the brand cannot even be found along the roadways in America — the Pure Oil Company was acquired by Union Oil of California in 1965 and its stations were rebranded.
This is an
original
, authentic 1937 gas station map,
not
a reproduction or modern reprint, and it is fully guaranteed to be genuine.
