Vintage 1957 Official US Patent Certificate and accompanying Letter from Patent Atty. to two gentlemen from Columbia, SC, for invention of a securing device looks like it was a type of trailer hitch which allowed hauling of larger or longer loads.  This would make sense as Mr. Wasser (b. 1897 in PA) resided in Columbia, SC at the time and worked for the local utility company.  We don't know anything about other gentleman on the patent.  And unknown if they made any $$ off their invention hopefully they did.  Letter has carbon copy.  Conditions are good these have bene folded up so lots of creasing.  This ships fast and FREE!  Contact us any questions we try our best and thanks for supporting our tiny biz.
