Vintage, Early and Rare “Trader Vic’s Trading Post” Fog Cutter Mug
This Mug is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks; there is significant crazing in the glaze.
This vintage Trader Vic's mug was used for serving the Samoan Fog Cutter.
"Trader Vic's Trading Post" printed on side of mug on the roofline of graphic.
"Imported by 'Trader Vic' Japan" printed in small script letters on bottom.
"Trader Vics Old Time XXX Rum" also printed on the side as a Rum Barrel label.
Some early Trader Vic bowls are also labeled "Trader Vic's Trading Post" and it is speculated that this label might have been used on merchandise to be sold in their gift shops.
This Fog Cutter mug is roughly 8 1/4 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches wide at it's base.
