Vintage Japanese Map of Japan Tourist Handmade Pool & Walking Stick 1950s 1960s.
Best for decorative or novelty purposes, it is handmade somewhat crudely and not as straight as it should be. I'd still play a game with it to show off but that's about it. Tip needs replaced. Assembles and comes apart with ease, very intuitive. I have seen these called canes and walking sticks as well. The paint and stain and carvings are all like they were done a year ago. Very well kept. There's even a fake diamond inlaid as part of a lighthouse. The walking stick grip I guess you could call it is made of brass and Bakelite. The threads on the Bakelite are 90% intact, and still work like 100%, just missing a chunk but that is completely hidden when assembled. There are no cracks in the wood, few lighter scuffs throughout the stick. The overall length of the tip was replaced would be exactly 58 inches.
