William Farnum Estate medal, badge VFW of US WM. FARNUM American Citizenship

Today there are going to be offerings from the William Farnum estate.  The noted actor of stage and film acquired and earned a collection of pins badges and medals for himself and from his family over the years.   While there are images of all the pieces, you will only be bidding/purchasing the identified piece in each listing.   This is a VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS OF THE UNITED STATES FOR AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP inscribed to WM. FARNUM   It measures approximately 3.25" x 1.5".  The clasp is original and in good working condition.   The ribbon is in worn condition but still some remnants of the blue in addition to the red and white visible.  The understanding of this medal is that it was issued back in the day due to his celebrity status as an actor for encouraging support of the military given his past service.
