This is a supporter's badge. The Imperial Gift Foundation Imperial Soldier's Relief League was founded in 1937 and officially recognized by Imperial order on October 3, 1938. It was created to provide social and economic support to wounded soldiers and their families.
The badge features a large six pointed star on the front. It has "Imperial Soldier's Relief League" written on the reverse. This badge is referenced as Figure 3.4 in Murphy and Ackley's book "In the Name of a Living God".
