You're bidding on a badge from the Imperial Soldier's Relief League (also known as the Imperial Soldier's Mutual Aid Association). Please closely examine the photos for condition of this badge as it's of the exact item you'll be bidding on. It comes in its original box (rare).This is a member's badge. The Imperial Soldier's Relief League was founded in 1937 and officially recognized by Imperial order on October 3, 1938. It was created to provide social and economic support to wounded soldiers and their families.
The badge is made of silver and features a six pointed star surrounded by a bird on the front. It has "Imperial Soldier's Relief League Member's Badge" written on the reverse. This badge is referenced as Figure 3.1 in Murphy and Ackley's book In the Name of a Living God.
