    This medal commemorates Emperor Hirohito ascending to the thrown in 1928. The obverse shows the imperial thrown with "Banzai" written below with cherry and orange blossoms around the edges of the medal. The reverse side has "Showa 3 (1928), November, Enthronement Commemorative Medal" written on it.
